This is our first Sennheiser from the Black Fire series. Its construction is relatively new – from the beginning of 1990s. It is made of plastic but the craftsmanship is quite sturdy. The cable socket is the standard XLR. It may not be the top shelf from this manufacturer, but it sounds interesting and may be useful in the studio.
